Job summary

RemoteLeads is seeking a senior full-stack engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable web apps. You will build UIs with Angular or React (TypeScript) and implement secure backend services with Python/Flask, plus design relational databases and APIs.

You will collaborate across teams, conduct code reviews, and contribute to architecture discussions while mentoring junior developers. Remote work is supported for a 6+ month contract with an open hourly rate.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of IT experience.
• 8–10 years hands-on full-stack web development.
• Proficiency with Angular or React using TypeScript.
• Backend development experience with Python and Flask.
• Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs.
• Strong knowledge of RDBMS (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, or Oracle).
• OO programming, design patterns, and software engineering principles.
• Experience with Git and modern version control.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (preferred).
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines (preferred).
• Experience with automated testing frameworks and Agile/Scrum methodologies (preferred).Knowledge of application security best practices and performance optimization techniques (preferred).
