Job summary

Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority seeks a Senior Full Stack Web Developer to lead project planning sessions during design and implementation and to coordinate development of scalable web solutions.

The role drives end-to-end development from concept to deployment, working with the Web Applications team in the Headquarters Office with supervision from the Web Applications Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, related field or foreign equivalent
• Six (6) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience developing web and mobile software using Drupal and OOP PHP frameworks like Symfony
• One (1) year of experience developing the latest functionalities within Drupal 9
• Background security investigation will be required for all new hires

The Senior Full Stack Web Developer will lead project planning sessionsduring design and implementation phases of a project and coordinate and oversee the development of solutions. This is a full performance level job in the Full Stack Web Developer series.This position works under the general supervision of the Web Applications Manager andserves in theWebApplications Department of the Office of Technology in the Headquarters Office Building. The Senior Full Stack Web Developer designs and oversees the development of front-end and back-end web application solutions, contributes to the end-to-end development process, from concept ideation to deployment and maintenance, and works closely with other developers on the Web Applications team and other office staff to deliver cross-domain solutions within web applications.

Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, related field, or foreign equivalent; six (6) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience developing web and mobile software using Drupal and OOP PHP frameworks like Symfony, including one (1) year of experience developing the latest functionalities within Drupal 9.
