Job summary

Quantum in Colorado is seeking an experienced Senior Full-Stack Engineer to design, architect, and build modern web applications using React, TypeScript, and Vue. You will shape BFF layers, REST/GraphQL APIs, and data models to power UI delivery.

Collaborate with UX and product teams, ensure performance, accessibility, and security, mentor engineers, lead design reviews, and drive CI/CD and testing across the stack.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional experience building full-stack, user-facing web apps with ownership of production services.
• Hands-on React in production; strong JS/TS/HTML5/CSS3 skills.
• Experience designing UI-focused back-end services with REST/GraphQL.
• Relational DBs (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and time-series DBs (Prometheus).
• Cloud, containers, orchestration, and DevOps practices; UX collaboration from Figma.
• Accessibility, cross-browser compatibility, and testing expertise.
• Strong Git, CI/CD (GitLab), and modern testing frameworks.
• Ability to lead, mentor, and influence technical direction in-office.

Responsibilities

• Design, architect, and develop modern web apps using React, TypeScript, and Vue.
• Build and maintain BFF and API services (REST/GraphQL) for UI data needs.
• Translate UI/UX designs into backend data models, APIs, and service boundaries.
• Lead architecture decisions for performance, security, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with UX/product teams to implement reusable UI components and design systems.
• Optimize UI performance, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Contribute to shared libraries across React and Vue ecosystems.
• Architect and maintain AWS-based back-end infra (EC2, RDS, SQS, SES, ECR) with Docker/Kubernetes.
• Improve API performance via caching and data transformation; respond to incidents.
• Implement authentication/authorization with identity platforms and SSO.
• Design/optimize relational data schemas and caching layers; ensure data integrity.
• Lead code reviews, establish standards, and mentor team members.
• Drive automated testing, CI/CD discipline, and reduce tech debt.
