Mirantis, Inc. is seeking a senior full-stack TypeScript engineer to build a web platform for managing multi-tenant AI infrastructure. You will work on a Next.js/React interface with server-side logic, OIDC authentication, and a generated TypeScript SDK from OpenAPI specs.

You will own the frontend stack from design to production, collaborate with global teams, and ensure robust, scalable dashboards and tooling for administrators.

Qualifications

Seeking a senior full-stack TypeScript engineer to construct the web platform through which enterprise users manage our multi-tenant control plane powering AI infrastructure. This interface allows organizations to establish tenancy, orchestrate GPU resources, configure access policies, and observe cluster metrics in real time.

Responsibilities encompass the full web stack: React components integrated with our design system, Next.js server logic for authentication and API proxying to backend Go services, and automated client SDK generation. Collaborating with distributed teams across North America, Europe, and Asia, you will drive frontend features from design phase to production deployment, delivering resilient, information-dense web tools for system administrators.

Main Responsibilities:

• Build product features end to end in a modern Next.js and React application — server components, route handlers, client interactivity, and the data layer that connects them.
• Develop and extend the shared component library and design tokens, implementing Figma specs faithfully across light and dark themes.
• Own the server tier that sits between the browser and the platform: request proxying, session handling, and keeping backend service URLs and credentials securely off the client.
• Implement authentication and authorization in the web tier — OIDC login against the platform auth service, JWT claim verification, session expiry, and role-based UI gating that mirrors platform permissions.
• Maintain the generated TypeScript SDK produced from the platform's OpenAPI specification, including the codegen pipeline, compatibility gates, and drift detection against the live API.
• Partner with backend teams on API contracts — push back when a response shape does not efficiently serve the UI, and negotiate the change rather than building front-end workarounds.
• Build a resilient data layer: caching, invalidation, optimistic updates, pagination, and honest loading/error states for highly dynamic infrastructure data.
• Write tests at every level — component tests with mocked network behavior, and Playwright end-to-end suites that run against live environments.
• Ensure accessibility, responsive behavior, and optimal web performance (bundle size, render cost, and what ships to the browser on each route).
• Instrument the application for production: error tracking, product analytics, feature flags, and structured logging.
• Review peers' code, debug production issues to root cause with regression coverage, and mentor junior engineers through design reviews.

Qualifications

Required Skills/Abilities

• 8+ years of professional software engineering, including deep production experience with TypeScript and modern React paradigms.
• Next.js architecture mastery: deep understanding of the server/client component boundary, caching strategies, and server-side rendering.
• Genuine full-stack range: comfortable and secure owning server-side code and API proxies, not just browser-based logic.
• Practical web-tier security experience: implementing OAuth2/OIDC flows, JWT verification, and secure cookie/session management.
• Architectural fluency in managing complex application state, specifically bridging server-state synchronization with client UI updates.
• Strong CSS architecture and design-system practice — utility-first CSS, scalable theming, and accessible component APIs built on headless primitives.
• Testing discipline across unit, component, and end-to-end layers, including network mocking and CI integration.
• Experience working in a monorepo with shared packages and a task-graph build system.
• Clear written English for design docs, review comments, and asynchronous collaboration across global time zones.

Must Have

(We expect deep production experience in several of these, and the engineering fundamentals to learn the rest rapidly)

• Core: TypeScript, React 19, Next.js (App Router), Node.js 22+.
• Styling & Components: Tailwind CSS v4, headless primitives (Base UI, Radix), CVA, design tokens, and theming.
• Data: TanStack Query, Zod validation, and OpenAPI-generated TypeScript clients.
• Auth: OIDC/JWT session handling in a server tier (jose or equivalent), cookie security, and role-based access control.
• Testing: Vitest, Testing Library, MSW, and Playwright.
• Tooling: pnpm workspaces, Turborepo, ESLint, Prettier, and GitHub Actions.
• Production: Error tracking and product analytics (Sentry, PostHog, or equivalent), and Docker-packaged deployment.

Nice to Have

• Kubernetes or cloud infrastructure product experience (familiarity with the domain this application exposes).
• GPU infrastructure or AI/ML platform UI work.
• Rich editor integration ( YAML editing and validation), map/geospatial visualization, animations (motion.dev and/or CSS)
• Web performance optimization: Core Web Vitals, bundle analysis, streaming, and partial rendering.
• Feature-flag driven delivery and experimentation.
• Design-system ownership (Ladle, Storybook, visual regression testing).
• OpenTelemetry or structured client-side logging.
• Go familiarity, for reading the backend services behind the API contract.
• CNCF or React/TypeScript ecosystem open-source contributions.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science & Engineering or related field or 10 years related experience.
