Job summary

Rose International is seeking a Senior Full Stack TypeScript Developer (Node.js & React) for a 6-month temporary hybrid role in Missouri. The position requires strong experience with Node.js, React, and TypeScript, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to build automated systems for agricultural research.

You will design databases, write APIs, and contribute to product design while working in a greenhouse environment. A Bachelor's degree is required; a Master's is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in a programming field, database design, or server administration
• Proficient in programming JavaScript/Typescript with 2 years of experience
• Proficient in SQL query development and relational database design
• Proficient in JSON API development
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Exposure to greenhouse environment with high temperatures, humidity, and pollen; comfortable working under these conditions

Responsibilities

• Work in a fast-paced R&D environment using TypeScript, Node, and React to interact with automated machinery
• Design databases, SQL queries, and JSON APIs
• Provide feedback in the product design and specification process
• Gather requirements from end users and handle code development, debugging, and testing for automated system software
