Technology Partners is currently seeking a talented Full Stack Typescript Developer (Node/React).

What You Will Be Doing:

You will join the engineering team working within a dynamic R&D environment. Your primary focus will be creating and maintaining software systems that interact with automated machinery, primarily using Typescript, Node.js, and React. You will collaborate with end users to gather requirements, design and develop database solutions, and implement JSON APIs. Your work will support agricultural research and automation efforts, requiring both technical expertise and creativity. This full-time position involves coding, debugging, analyzing test results, and providing ongoing support and enhancements to software systems. On a day-to-day basis, you will partner with cross-functional teams and contribute to evolving product designs while ensuring system reliability and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop robust web applications and systems using Typescript, Node.js, and React.
• Design and optimize databases, write complex SQL queries, and develop JSON APIs.
• Gather and analyze end-user requirements to ensure accurate implementation.
• Debug and troubleshoot issues across front-end and back-end components.
• Collaborate with team members to improve product features and functionalities.
• Document system architecture, design specifications, and API integrations.
• Provide technical support and ongoing enhancements for automated systems used in research environments.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous integration and deployment processes.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in software development, database design, or server administration.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and Typescript with at least 2 years of hands-on experience.
• Strong understanding of SQL query development and relational database design.
• Experience developing JSON APIs and working with RESTful services.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfortable working in a greenhouse environment with elevated temperatures, humidity, and plant pollen.
• Ability to work on-site in Chesterfield, MO.

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Experience with Git source control management.
• Familiarity with GitHub Actions for automation.
• Knowledge of Docker containerization.
• Exposure to continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools.
