Job summary

Deloitte's Advertising, Marketing & Commerce team is seeking a Senior Consultant, Technical Transformation to drive complex commerce transformations, defining scalable architectures and hands-on development across the delivery lifecycle.

You will mentor developers, lead cross-functional teams, and partner with clients to modernize platforms, deliver digital experiences, and ensure quality, security, and performance at scale.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full stack development across front-end and back-end technologies.
• Experience leading cross-functional engineering teams of 10+ members and conducting code reviews for enterprise platform implementations.
• 3+ large-scale platform modernization programs delivered for enterprise digital platforms.
• 5+ years of experience implementing solutions on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• 3+ years of experience designing and optimizing relational and NoSQL database solutions and building RESTful or GraphQL APIs.
• Ability to travel 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
• Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical architecture for commerce engagements, including system design, integration patterns, and technology selection.
• Facilitate discovery sessions to gather technical requirements, assess current-state processes and platforms, and translate findings into solution architecture and delivery plans.
• Guide and mentor full stack developers through code reviews, engineering standards, and implementation best practices across front-end and back‑end development.
• Design, build, and maintain full stack applications, application programming interfaces, and data integrations to support scalable commerce solutions.
• Drive quality, performance, security, and scalability across delivery, including testing approaches, continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines, and issue resolution.
