Job summary

Deloitte’s Advertising, Marketing & Commerce team seeks a Senior Consultant, Technical Transformation to lead complex commerce transformations. You will drive architecture, design scalable solutions, and guide full stack development across the delivery lifecycle.

Ideal candidates mentor developers, translate business needs into technical solutions, and ensure quality through CI/CD, testing, and robust interoperability across platforms. Strong communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full stack development across front-end and back-end tech.
• Lead cross-functional engineering teams of 10+ members and conduct code reviews.
• 3+ large-scale platform modernization programs for enterprise digital platforms.
• 5+ years with AWS/Azure/GCP, incl CI/CD pipelines.
• 3+ years designing relational and NoSQL databases and building REST/GraphQL APIs.
• Willingness to travel ~50% depending on client work.
• Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.
• Roadmaps ownership and build-versus-buy recommendations (preferred).
• Automated testing frameworks such as RestAssured, Karate, or Selenium (preferred).
• CSS/HTML5/JavaScript experience (preferred).
• Agile methodology (preferred).
• Cloud or architecture certification (preferred).
• Kubernetes or Apache Kafka (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical architecture for commerce engagements, including system design, integration patterns, and technology selection.
• Facilitate discovery sessions to gather technical requirements and translate findings into solution architecture and delivery plans.
• Guide and mentor full stack developers through code reviews, engineering standards, and implementation best practices.
• Design, build, and maintain full stack applications, APIs, and data integrations to support scalable commerce solutions.
• Drive quality, performance, security, and scalability across delivery, including CI/CD pipelines and testing.
