Job summary

A veteran-owned technology firm is seeking a Technical Advisor mainly for developing and implementing various projects. Responsibilities include technical planning and analysis, as well as evaluation of complex systems. Ideal candidates should possess a bachelor's degree, 10 years of relevant experience, and demonstrate proficiency in software development, particularly with object-oriented languages and modern DevSecOps practices. This position also requires a Top Secret/SCI clearance and offers a full-time role based in Texas or Maryland.

Qualifications

• 10 years of experience in the functional area. A Master's degree may substitute for 2 years of experience.
• 5 years of experience with bug tracking software (e.g., Jira).
• Practical experience integrating Restful interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for technical planning, development, testing, and evaluation of system capabilities.
• Provide analytical skills and technical expertise for technical development and process improvement.

Skills

Software development experience in object-oriented languages

Experience in container technology (Kubernetes, Docker, Amazon EKS)

Experience with bug tracking software (e.g., Jira)

Experience testing web-based applications across security domains

Experience leading software development programs or projects

Education
