A leading defense and intelligence technology company in Gaithersburg is seeking a Full-Stack Software Engineer to design and develop scalable software solutions. This role requires expertise in object-oriented programming, SQL, and RESTful services. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams and work on complex technical tasks independently. Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree and 8–12 years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with 6–10 years. Position requires Top Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of relevant experience or Master's with 6–10 years.
• Professional experience designing and implementing object-oriented applications.
• Experience developing and maintaining RESTful services.
• Strong experience writing and optimizing SQL queries.
• Working knowledge of Linux environments for development and deployment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, troubleshoot, and maintain scalable software applications.
• Implement and maintain RESTful services to support application functionality.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries; contribute to database schema updates.
• Develop, deploy, and troubleshoot applications within Linux-based environments.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues spanning application and database layers.
