Preferred: Law Enforcement Systems Experience

Position Overview

Estrada Consulting, Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to support the development, enhancement, maintenance, and integration of mission-critical enterprise web applications.

The ideal candidate will have strong full-stack development experience, including JavaScript-based web technologies, database development, complex SQL queries, application troubleshooting, testing, and performance optimization.

Experience with VueJS, MongoDB, REST APIs, payment integrations, and modern development tools is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, test, and maintain mission-critical web applications.

• Develop intuitive, user-friendly, high-performance application functionality.

• Troubleshoot application code, resolve defects, and perform full-stack testing based on user requirements and user stories.

• Develop complex Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server queries for data conversion, analysis, and reporting.

• Develop and maintain frontend and backend application components.

• Integrate web applications with databases, REST APIs, and external systems.

• Support application performance, reliability, maintainability, and security.

• Prepare technical documentation and collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders.

Mandatory Qualifications

Candidates must demonstrate all six qualifications below.

MQ1. Minimum four (4) years of demonstrated experience developing and maintaining solutions that:

• Serve mission-critical applications.

• Are intuitive and user-friendly, requiring little or no formal training, with features such as online training, on-screen help, and decentralized account management.

• Are performance-oriented for fast response.

MQ2. Minimum four (4) years of experience in projects developing and maintaining web-based solutions.

MQ3. Minimum four (4) years of experience troubleshooting code and performing edge testing based on user requirements/stories (full stack).

MQ4. Minimum four (4) years of experience performing complex database queries in Oracle/MS SQL Server to produce data conversion and data analysis to provide visual data reports as requested.

MQ5. Minimum three (3) years of experience with one or more of the following:

• JavaScript

• TypeScript

• Azure DevOps/GitHub

• VueJS

• React

• Angular

• HTML and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS)

MQ6. Minimum three (3) years of experience with one or more of the following:

• Oracle SQL

• Microsoft SQL Server

• MongoDB

• REST APIs

• Functions, triggers, and stored procedures

Additional Mandatory Qualifications

Each Qualification below is a minimum of two (2) years

1. Experience integrating PCI-DSS compliant payment portals into web applications.

2. Experience using the Composition API in VueJS.

3. Experience with MongoDB, Fastify, ExpressJS, or FeathersJS.

4. Experience creating aggregation pipelines in MongoDB with multiple stages.

5. Familiarity with Linux and Docker images for localhost development.

6. Experience with third-party controls/libraries such as Vuetify and PrimeVue.

7. Experience using JavaScript libraries, such as PDFMake, to create PDF reports.

8. Experience using Oracle SQL Developer or Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio.

9. Experience using VSCode.

10. Highly preferred Public Sector Project Experience in Law Enforcement.
