externaljobboards seeks a senior engineer to join a team building a unified platform used by educational organizations for recruiting, attendance, and special education workflows. The role blends hands-on coding with architectural decisions on a modern .NET and Angular stack.

You will advise on design, lead feature development, and uphold coding standards while mentoring peers across delivery cycles, with collaborative work alongside product owners and engineers.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with .NET, Angular, and SQL.
• Strong grasp of web application architecture and asynchronous API skills.
• Proficiency with C#, TypeScript, SQL, ORM and RESTful APIs.
• Comfort writing unit tests, debugging complex code, and test automation.
• Familiarity with behavior-driven development and translating requirements to implementation.
• Mentoring mindset and experience creating design sketches; willingness to work till 7 PM Warsaw time; English at an intermediate+ level.

Responsibilities

• Advise on solution design and architecture, including scalability and reliability improvements.
• Lead the design, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance of software features.

Requirements

• Solid hands-on experience with .NET, Angular, and SQL.
• Strong grasp of web application architecture and asynchronous API and web development.
• Proficiency with C#, TypeScript, T-SQL/PSQL/SQL, shell or command scripting, Entity Framework or another ORM, and RESTful APIs.
• Comfort writing unit tests, debugging complex code, and contributing to test automation.
• Familiarity with behavior-driven development and translating requirements or Gherkin into implementation.
• Demonstrated mentoring mindset and experience creating design sketches, with willingness to work until 7 PM Warsaw time at an intermediate+ level of English.

Nice to have

• Background in QA, unit and integration testing, and the basics of performance and security testing.
• Experience with SaaS and multi-tenant solutions.
• Working knowledge of Git within continuous integration pipelines and a solid grasp of Agile delivery habits.
