Job summary

Everpure is seeking an experienced software engineer to own end-to-end development across the full stack, with a strong emphasis on AI-assisted coding. You will lead cross-functional teams on projects spanning frontend Angular/Typescript and backend Java/Python services, collaborating with UX and platform teams from Bellevue.

You will explore AI-driven design patterns, container-based architectures, and micro-frontends while driving code quality, reviews, CI/CD, and deployment.

Qualifications

• 6+ years designing, implementing and testing various product components.
• 1+ year lead role driving projects from requirements to release, including directing other engineers.
• Experience using AI to generate production quality code and familiarity with current AI development tools.

Responsibilities

• Work on end-to-end lifecycle application development across the full stack (roughly 30% frontend and 70% backend). AI tooling fluency is preferred: use AI to generate over 70% of code.
• Design, develop and maintain customer-facing and internal-facing web applications, leveraging AI design tools and using Java backend and Python, with Angular/Typescript frontend.
• Experiment with AI on new technologies and patterns such as containers (k8s) or micro-frontends to push state-of-the-art solutions.
• Lead fellow engineers and stakeholders to identify requirements and take solutions from design to production.
• Lead/driving project implementations, coordinating other engineers’ work.
• Take charge and drive design, development, unit testing, code reviews, CI/CD.
• Explore and develop use of AI to accelerate development life cycle and reduce maintenance pain points.

The Role

Pure1 is the unifying manageability and intelligence layer on top of all Everpure products and services - FlashArray, FlashBlade, CBS, Portworx and more. It is the nexus of our promise of a simple customer experience, providing insights and tools to help make our customers’ lives better.

What You’ll Do

• Working on end-to-end lifecycle application development across the full stack (roughly 30% frontend and 70% backend, vary quarter by quarter). AI tooling fluency is preferred: you are expected to use AI to generate over 70% of your code.
• Designing, developing and maintaining customer-facing and internal-facing web applications, leveraging AI design tools and using technologies such as backend micro-services in Java, Python, and in collaboration with our UX team for frontend work in Angular and Typescript
• Experimenting with AI on new technologies and architectural patterns such as containers (k8s) or micro-frontends, in order to push the state-of-the-art and innovate new solutions
• Leading fellow engineers and stake-holders to identify requirements and take solutions from initial design to production
• Leading/driving a project’s implementation, including coordinating other engineers’ work
• Take charge and drive the team’s design, development, unit testing, code reviews, documentation, continuous integration, and continuous deployment
• Continuously explore and develop use of AI in all above areas to help accelerate the development life cycle and reduce traditional software development and maintenance pain points

What You Bring

• 6+ years of professional experience designing, implementing and testing various product components
• 1+ year(s) of experience in a leadership role driving projects from requirements to release, including directing other engineers
• Experience using AI to generate production quality code and familiarity with current AI development tools
• 6+ years combined professional experience in Java, Javascript, Python, or equivalent. Nice to have: Typescript, C/C++
• Ability to thrive in a highly collaborative and team-oriented environment
• Ability to lead, monitor, and support multiple concurrent projects with fast context switching
• Knowledge of AWS, Kubernetes, networking infrastructure. Angular, NoSQL are a plus
• Eagerness to explore using AI tools to improve development and process efficiency
• We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Bellevue office in compliance with Everpure’s policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.

Salary ranges are determined based on role, level and location. For positions open to candidates in multiple geographical locations, the base salary range is reflective of the labor market across the applicable locations.

This role may be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity.

The Annual Base Salary Range Is

$180,000—$270,000 USD
