Job summary

Verisk Extreme Event Solutions is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to build modern, cloud-based analytic applications that model and manage extreme event risk. You will contribute across the full stack—design scalable services, deliver intuitive user experiences, and evolve high-performance solutions in an agile environment.

The core production stack is .NET, Angular, and AWS, with emphasis on strong engineering fundamentals and a willingness to grow in an AI-forward culture.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of commercial-grade full-stack software development experience.
• Deep understanding of frontend UI, backend logic, scalability, and performance optimization.
• Core stack includes C#, Angular, PostgreSQL, and Python.
• Ability to reverse-engineer logic and debug unfamiliar codebases.
• US Citizenship, Green Card, or H-1B visa transfer eligibility.

Qualifications

• Education: BS in Computer Science (MS preferred) or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience: 5+ years of commercial-grade full-stack software development experience.
• Expertise: Deep understanding of frontend UI, backend business logic, scalability, frameworks, and performance optimization.
• Core Stack: Competency or expertise in C#, Angular, PostgreSQL, and Python (or strongly translatable enterprise languages).
• Analytical Mindset: Excellent debugging and code review habits; ability to reverse-engineer logic and identify flaws in unfamiliar codebases.
• Work Authorization: Must be a US Citizen, Green Card holder, or qualify for an H-1B visa transfer.
