Senior Full-Stack Software Developer (Remote based in the US)

Summary

The Sr. Full-Stack Software Developer role requires a highly self-motivated individual, who works well in a team-oriented environment, possesses excellent communication and customer service skills, and is comfortable working on diverse projects with an Engineering Mindset. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in WPF-Based Desktop Application Architecture, Engineering, Development, and Support. Generalized experience across development and support services for .NET applications in the Healthcare Industry is preferred. Additional experience building or converting desktop apps to Web-based Solutions is a big plus. The ability to confidently develop complex solutions using WPF, .NET Core, C#, SQL Server is also required.

What You'll Do

Primary Responsibilities Include

  • System and Software Design, Engineering, Development, and Support for WPF-based .NET Desktop and/or Web Applications in a Microsoft Full Stack environment, supporting high-availability, critical, internal, and external-facing desktop applications and other critical business applications.
  • Collaborate closely with project team members, product owners, stakeholders, and customers, providing expertise in problem solving and innovation.
  • Ensure application design adheres to Coding Standards, Best Practices, and UI/UX principles.
  • Communicate effectively within the team and across the enterprise to report progress and performance.
  • Provide ad-hoc support for existing legacy platforms and technologies as needed.

What It Takes To Succeed

  • Extensive knowledge of MVVM Application Architecture using WPF, including development standards, performance optimization, and UI/UX design.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft development tools such as WPF, .NET Core, .NET Framework, SQL Server, Azure DevOps, and Git.
  • Experience in writing SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and views, with data analysis skills.
  • Understanding of AGILE SDLC, including Sprint and Kanban methodologies.
  • Knowledge of data models and database evolution.
  • Proficiency in UI/UX design and application modernization.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub.
  • Self-motivated, innovative, detail-oriented, and adaptable.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
  • Healthcare technology experience is a plus.

Experience

Minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible experience in Software Engineering and Desktop Application Development.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred; equivalent experience considered.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary range: $77,376 - $123,552 annually, depending on experience and location. Benefits include health insurance, 401k, paid time off, and others as detailed.
