Job summary

Innovative Supply Solutions, LLC is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Developer to lead and enhance our ISS Nexus platform. You will collaborate with the Lead Developer, UX team, and stakeholders to design, develop, and maintain a complex web app for clinical trial management.

You will mentor developers, drive best practices including DevOps and CI/CD, and stay current with AI integration. This fully remote role will move to a hybrid schedule once a Bucks County, PA office opens.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience (7+ years).
  • Strong proficiency with Python and Django and SQL.
  • Experience with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and test new features for Nexus.
  • Write and maintain clean, scalable front-end and back-end code.
  • Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues for high performance and responsiveness.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation.
  • Stay updated on AI tech and industry trends for platform enhancement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address user needs.
  • Lead DevOps and CI/CD initiatives; contribute to development processes.
  • Contribute to building the development team as the company grows.

Job description

As a Senior Full Stack Software Developer at Innovative Supply Solutions, you will collaborate with our Lead Developer to lead the development and enhancement of our ISS Nexus platform. You will work closely with our UX design team, leadership, and other software engineers to design, develop, and maintain a complex web application that streamlines clinical trial management. This position is ideal for a seasoned professional who is passionate about software development and eager to drive innovation in a collaborative and dynamic environment. Your work will directly impact the efficiency and success of clinical trials for our clients in the pharmaceutical, biotech, and therapeutics industries.

What You'll Do
  • Design, develop, and test new features and applications of our key product, Nexus.
  • Write and maintain clean, efficient, and scalable code for both front-end and back-end components.
  • Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers, providing constructive feedback and guidance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring high performance and responsiveness of applications.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies, including AI integration, and industry trends to continuously enhance our platform.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and address user requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Drive the implementation of best practices in software development, including DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Will be involved in building our Development Team as the Company grows.
What We're Looking For
  • A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent work experience (7+ years)
  • Strong proficiency with back-end technologies such as Python (preferred), Django (preferred), SQL (preferred) or similar.
  • In-depth knowledge of databases and experience with database management systems like MySQL (preferred), PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
  • Advanced understanding of RESTful APIs and web services and system integrations.
  • Proficiency with version control systems, preferably Git.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with AI technologies and their applications in software development is highly desirable.
You Might Also Have (Nice to Have)
  • Experience in leading full stack development projects.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS (preferred) and Azure.
  • Expertise in DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
  • Knowledge or experience with AI technologies and their applications in software development.
