Job summary

EPAM Systems Inc. seeks a Senior Full-Stack Python Software Engineer to work on back-end and front-end tasks within a Scrum team.

You will leverage Python, FastAPI, IaC, AWS, and PostgreSQL, while applying modern front-end tech such as ReactJS, NextJS, TypeScript, Tailwind, and RESTful APIs. You will collaborate across the team, perform code reviews, and participate in all Scrum ceremonies to drive high-quality software and secure coding standards, addressing bugs and vulnerabilities promptly

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with Python, FastAPI and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Experience with AWS and PostgreSQL relational database
• Proficiency in ReactJS, NextJS and TypeScript
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and JSON
• Understanding of SOLID principles and design patterns
• Practical experience with Agile methodologies, especially Scrum
• Strong troubleshooting and bug-fixing skills
• Excellent communication and distributed-team collaboration
• Knowledge of AI and AI applications in the SDLC
• Proficiency in English at a B2+ level
• Nice to have Accessibility bug remediation experience
• Familiarity with WCAG 2.x accessibility standards
• Familiarity with CSS and SASS
• Knowledge of AI and Prompt Engineering concepts
