OVERVIEW
Ten Mile Square is seeking a talented senior full-stack Python software engineer passionate about technology to join our growing team of product, technology, and software professionals. The initial assignment involves developing an industry-leading platform for a well-known music industry client. The successful candidate will work with experienced team leads, learn new technologies, and refine fundamental skills.
Salary
Base + Standard Bonus at plan: $161K ($140K + $21K).
Job Responsibilities
- Design and build a portals platform using Python/Django, Vue.js, RDS Postgres, and various AWS components including OpenSearch, Lambda, Batch, and S3. The role involves full-stack development, primarily backend with some frontend work.
- Collaborate with tech leads and the product team to determine functional requirements.
- Contribute as a member of an Agile team and promote Agile practices.
- Proactively collaborate within the team on development and knowledge sharing.
- Represent yourself and Ten Mile Square with integrity, expertise, and value.
- Maintain client confidentiality at all times.
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of software development experience, including 2 years with Python/Django.
- At least 2 years of Vue.js expertise.
- Proficiency with SQL, specifically Postgres.
- At least 1 year of experience developing and deploying on AWS.
- Experience with Jenkins, Docker, Terraform is a plus.
- Full application stack development experience from front-end to persistence.
- Participation in the full software lifecycle, from requirements to post-implementation.
- Proficiency with Linux command line.
