Job summary
Premera Blue Cross in Mountlake Terrace, WA, is seeking a Software Development Engineer III to analyze, design, code, test, and maintain software across local, web, and cloud-based platforms in an agile team.
The ideal candidate will have full-stack development expertise, cloud-native architecture experience, and familiarity with AI-assisted coding practices, along with strong collaboration across partners and IT leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in CS, IS, or related field.
- 5 years of software development experience and knowledge of SDLC.
- Experience with one or more programming languages.
Responsibilities
- Consult with business partners and IT leaders to identify problems and propose scalable solutions.
- Analyze high-risk business needs and design multi-platform solutions.
- Develop and modify code with CI/CD, and provide technical support.
- Perform unit testing and document results.
- Produce SDLC artifacts and maintain technical documentation.
- Collaborate with team and mentor others.
- Contribute to standardization of IT processes and stay current with trends.
