McBride Consulting is seeking a Senior Full Stack Java Developer to support enterprise-level applications in a fast-paced financial services environment. The role emphasizes Java, microservices, cloud-native technologies, and modern front-end frameworks.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong Java/J2EE expertise with Java 8 and 17.
• Extensive Spring Boot and Hibernate/JPA experience.
• Hands-on microservices architecture and API development.
• Experience with RESTful services and relational databases.
• NoSQL experience with MongoDB and DynamoDB.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and GitHub.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using Java and modern front-end technologies.
• Build scalable microservices and APIs to support high-volume transaction processing.
• Collaborate with architects, QA engineers, DevOps engineers, and product owners.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support automated deployments.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement performance improvements.
• Ensure applications meet security, compliance, and performance standards.
• Create technical documentation and contribute to architectural discussions.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to development best practices.
