SmarTek21, LLC. seeks an experienced Full Stack Java Developer / On‑Site Coordinator to join our team and drive enterprise‑grade applications across backend and UI. You will lead on‑site coordination with offshore teams to deliver critical outcomes and ensure robust design and implementation.

The role emphasizes REST/SOAP services with Spring Boot, Hibernate, ReactJS, and a strong focus on code quality, CI/CD, and cross‑timezone collaboration. Washington‑area hybrid work is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Senior‑level professional experience in enterprise software engineering with leadership or on‑site coordination.
• 5+ years of hands‑on Java development experience.
• 3+ years of experience with ReactJS or similar UI framework.
• 3+ years of Spring Boot and Hibernate experience.
• 3+ years of JavaScript and jQuery experience.
• Experience with REST and SOAP web services, XML, XSD, XSLT.
• Strong database proficiency: JDBC, SQL, stored procedures, JPA.
• Experience with automated unit testing (JUnit) and mocking (Mockito, JMockit).
• Familiarity with Agile and CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
• Proficiency with Git, TFS, or similar source control.

Responsibilities

• Lead and drive design, development, and maintenance of enterprise‑grade full‑stack apps.
• Act as on‑site technical coordinator bridging offshore teams and local stakeholders.
• Build, enhance, and integrate REST and SOAP services using Spring Boot, Hibernate, and related tech.
• Develop responsive UI with ReactJS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Architect relational DB components using JDBC, SQL, and JPA.
• Enforce code quality and test coverage with JUnit and mocking frameworks.
• Oversee CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and manage source control workflows.
• Facilitate architectural reviews and troubleshoot production incidents across time zones.
