Cross Resource Group is seeking a Senior Full Stack Java Developer (Level 4) for a remote US-based engagement aligned to Andover, MA. The role emphasizes hands-on development across Java, Spring, Angular, RxJS, or React, APIs, and relational data. The candidate should deliver production features from recent projects and articulate designs independently.

The contract position lasts about 6 months with potential extension. Citizenship in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Recent full-stack software development experience in the last two years.
• Strong hands-on Java development experience.
• Production experience with Spring or Spring Boot.
• Front-end development with Angular plus RxJS and/or React.
• Ability to design a solution and write, test, and explain code without AI tool assistance.
• Experience building or integrating RESTful APIs and modern web applications.
• Strong debugging and independent design skills.
• U.S. citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack features for a modern enterprise web application.
• Build backend services and business logic using Java and the Spring ecosystem.
• Develop responsive, data-intensive UIs using Angular and RxJS and/or React.
• Design and consume RESTful APIs linking workflows and relational data.
• Translate requirements into maintainable designs and production-quality code.
• Model, query, and troubleshoot data using MariaDB or similar SQL integrations.
• Participate in design reviews, code reviews, testing, debugging, and performance improvements.
• Work remotely while clearly communicating decisions, progress, and risks.
