Job summary

ITCON Services is seeking a Senior Full Stack Java Developer to join our team in Vienna, VA. This is a 100% hands-on role focusing on designing and developing both frontend and backend components across the full software life cycle.

The ideal candidate has strong experience with J2EE/Java, JavaScript frameworks, cloud services (Azure/AWS), RESTful APIs, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes/OpenShift). You will mentor junior staff and own tasks end-to-end.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• 10+ years of relevant work experience acceptable in lieu of a degree.
• Candidate must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
• US Citizen or Green Card holder required.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop frontend and backend components across the full software life cycle.
• Mentor junior staff and own tasks with 100% ownership.
• Perform unit testing to ensure high-quality, bug-free code.
• Decompose business and system architecture for multi-team development.
