Job summary

Collabera seeks a Senior Full Stack Java Developer to join our enterprise technology team in Uptown Charlotte. This role offers a roughly 50/50 backend/frontend split, working on scalable enterprise applications with Java, Spring, Angular, and SQL Server.

You will own technical outcomes, collaborate across development, QA, product, and operations, and participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies with a focus on DevSecOps and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in Java development.
• 6+ years of Angular development with Angular 16+.
• 3+ years of SQL Server development experience.
• Experience with microservices-based applications.
• Experience with DevSecOps and CI/CD practices.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Proficiency with JIRA and Confluence.
• Strong OO design and software architecture knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support scalable enterprise applications using Java, Spring, Spring MVC, and Spring Boot.
• Develop responsive UIs with Angular 16+.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices-based applications.
• Apply OO design principles and design patterns for maintainable solutions.
• Work with SQL Server for queries, stored procedures, data models, and performance optimization.
• Develop integrations using XML, JSON, REST APIs, JDBC, and JPA.
• Write unit tests and participate in code reviews.
• Implement CI/CD and DevSecOps practices across the lifecycle.
• Troubleshoot performance and production issues with effective solutions.
• Collaborate with QA to support testing (functional/integration).
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and backlog refinement.
• Create/maintain technical docs using JIRA/Confluence.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and operations.
