Job summary

NetServices (NSI) seeks a Senior Java Full Stack Developer to join an agile software team. You will design and implement backend APIs with Java and Spring Boot, build secure UIs with React, and work with PostgreSQL schemas to scale systems.

This role requires a U.S. Citizenship and an active TS/SCI clearance; Washington, DC area on-site work is expected. The team emphasizes secure software practices, CI/CD, and collaboration across stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Strong UI design and development using React, JavaScript, CSS.
• Experience with Java, Spring Framework/Security 6+, Spring Boot 3+, Hibernate 6+.
• Experience with SQL/PLSQL, PostgreSQL, RESTful APIs, Maven, Git/GitLab.
• Experience with AWS (S3, EC2, ECS, Aurora, CloudWatch), Keycloak, Kubernetes, Docker.
• Experience with Agile, Scrum, and Kanban.
• Experience with Jira and Confluence.
• CI/CD automation experience.
• Excellent analytical and documentation skills.
• Strong planning, organizational and time management.
• Self-motivated with initiative.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-stack design and development support using Java, Spring MVC, Spring Security, Spring Boot, React, and PostgreSQL.
• Implement normalized PostgreSQL schemas and entity relationships supporting system scalability.
• Develop and maintain secure RESTful APIs for data access and integration.
• Support and document data migration efforts, ensuring integrity and consistency between legacy and new systems.
• Plan and execute application deployments, version control, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Assist in supporting all aspects of the project to include all phases of the life cycle development.
• Ensure compliance with 508 accessibility, enterprise security practices, and other practices as needed.

Senior Java Full Stack Developer

This role will be a part of an agile software development team and integral in performing software development, O&M support, and adhering to agile methodology and scrum ceremonies. The role will design and implement backed APIs using Java and Spring Boot, design and build secure and responsive UIs using React, and develop optimized PostgreSQL schemas and queries.

Provide full‑stack design and development support using Java, Spring MVC, Spring Security, Spring Boot, React, and PostgreSQL. • Strong UI design and development skills using React, JavaScript, and CSS
• Experience required in Java, Spring Framework/Security 6+, Spring Boot 3+, Hibernate 6+, SQL/PLSQL, PostgreSQL, RESTful APIs, Maven, Git/GitLab
• Experience with database design and data migration
• Additional experience required in AWS (S3, EC2, ECS, Aurora, CloudWatch), Keycloak, Kubernetes, Maven, and Docker
• Experience with Agile, Scrum, and Kanban frameworks/methodologies
• Experience with Atlassian tools including Jira and Confluence
• Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery tools and automation
• Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills
• Excellent documentation skills
• Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills
• Self‑motivated with strong initiative to help team grow
• Minimum of 7+ years of experience
• Computer Science background with Bachelor’s or Master’s degree

Security Clearance requirement

Compensation Spotlight

Typical salary range starts at $125,000 and stretches up to $155,000. We are committed to rewarding top talent and may exceed this range for exceptional candidates.
