Job summary

J&T Business Consulting is seeking a Senior Full Stack Java/Angular Software Engineer (TS/SCI with polygraph) to design and lead development of high-throughput enterprise systems in Annapolis Junction, MD. You will build Angular/RxJS front-ends and Java/Spring Boot back-ends, drive architecture decisions, and mentor cross-functional teams.

The role demands deep expertise in Kafka, JMS, Oracle, Elasticsearch, and strong DevOps with Docker/Kubernetes in GitLab CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

Active TS/SCI with a current Polygraph.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline with 12+ years of software engineering experience on programs/contracts of similar scope and complexity, OR 16 years of relevant software engineering experience without a degree.
Front-End development with Angular and RxJS.
Back-End engineering with Spring Boot, Java.
Experience with Kafka, JMS, Oracle, Elasticsearch.
DevOps with Docker, Kubernetes, Maven, Gradle, GitLab CI/CD.
Proven technical leadership across distributed teams.

Responsibilities

Architect, code, test, and deploy full-stack web applications using Angular/RxJS front-end and Java/Spring Boot back-end microservices.
Develop integrations with Spring MVC, Spring Data, Spring Security, JMS, and Kafka.
Design and optimize database interfaces and data indexing with Oracle and Elasticsearch.
Containerize apps and manage deployments with Docker/Kubernetes in GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
Lead multiple software teams, set coding standards, ensure quality across projects.
Collaborate with systems/hardware engineers to derive software requirements and interfaces.
Design complex algorithms with timing/resource/interface constraints.
Produce and review technical design docs and architecture specifications.
