Job summary

Nuxt is seeking a Full Stack Developer to own both frontend and backend work. You will build high-performance interfaces with Vue 3/Nuxt and develop reliable backend services with Node.js.

Manage from idea to production, creating scalable APIs and dynamic content-driven pages using Strapi and related CMS tools. You will design REST APIs, implement authentication/authorization, and ensure data integrity across databases.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial Full Stack experience (Mid) or 5+ years (Senior).
• Strong commercial experience with Vue 3 and Nuxt 3.
• Strong backend experience with Node.js and modern Node.js frameworks.
• Understanding of Nuxt 4 architecture and migration principles is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of TypeScript and modern JavaScript for frontend and backend.
• Experience designing, developing, and integrating REST APIs.
• Experience with Headless CMS solutions such as Strapi.
• Strong SSR, hydration, and server-side rendering understanding.
• Experience with Pinia state management and Nitro routes/middleware.
• Experience with databases and ORM/ODM; database design and optimization.
• Knowledge of semantic HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, and Tailwind CSS.
• Experience with Vite, ESLint, Prettier, and modern Git workflows.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, scalable, well-documented code.
• Knowledge of web security and API security best practices.
• Strong communication and collaboration with Product/Design/QA teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using Vue 3, Nuxt, and Node.js.
• Build backend services, APIs, server logic, and integrations.
• Create content-driven pages with Strapi and other CMS solutions.
• Design and implement REST APIs and ensure frontend-backend communication.
• Implement authentication, authorization, validation, and error handling.
• Work with databases and optimize queries for performance.
• Develop SSR apps and apply modern frontend/backend best practices.
• Optimize app performance, Core Web Vitals, and API response times.
• Use Pinia for state management and ensure data flow efficiency.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, QA and other teams throughout the lifecycle.
• Contribute to architecture discussions and maintain engineering standards.
• Document code and development standards; share knowledge within the team.
• Troubleshoot production issues and improve system reliability.
