Job summary

Nexshift is seeking an experienced Full-Stack Software Engineer to build and scale a voice automation platform powering AI-driven conversations across customer support, sales, and recruitment. You will own features from architecture to deployment, collaborating with the founding team to craft scalable backend systems and intuitive frontend experiences.

You will design responsive frontend dashboards, build APIs and distributed backend services, and integrate telephony workflows for voice AI

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full-stack software engineering experience with balanced frontend and backend work.
• Hands-on coding experience delivering production-ready software.
• Strong proficiency in React and TypeScript for frontend development.
• Strong backend skills in Python and Node.js.
• Experience with AWS and cloud-based application development.
• Understanding of backend architecture, distributed systems, scalability and reliability.
• Experience building APIs, dashboards, analytics features, and complex integrations.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with end-to-end ownership in a fast-growth startup.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end product features, including architecture, development, deployment, and iteration.
• Design and develop responsive frontend applications, dashboards, and analytics interfaces using React and TypeScript.
• Build scalable backend services, APIs, and distributed systems using Python and Node.js.
• Develop and maintain prompt orchestration workflows and telephony integrations for voice AI applications.
• Use AWS services to build, deploy, and maintain reliable cloud-based applications.
• Improve system performance, reliability, scalability, and user experience.
• Support customer onboarding, troubleshoot technical issues, and resolve production bugs.
• Translate customer feedback into actionable product enhancements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and suggest improvements to product functionality and engineering practices.
• Demonstrate ownership and accountability in a fast-paced, startup-oriented environment.
