Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science or a related quantitative field.
• At least 4 years of software engineering experience.
• At least 2 years of experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).

Responsibilities

• Lead a portfolio of diverse technology projects and a team of developers with deep experience in distributed microservices and full stack systems.
• Mentor other members of the engineering community and stay current with tech trends.
• Collaborate with product managers to deliver cloud-based solutions for users.
• Utilize Java, Scala, Python, Go, Node.js, JavaScript and TypeScript across services.
• Provide technical leadership across Agile teams and establish design/engineering standards.
• Define service boundaries and reusable frameworks with architects.
• Identify refactoring opportunities to reduce technical debt and improve performance.
• Influence long-term technology strategy under a 'you build it, you own it' model.
