Job summary

DeNOVO Solutions in Aurora, Colorado seeks a Senior Full Stack Engineer to lead design and delivery of scalable applications, focusing on performance and reliability across the stack.

You will architect backend services with Node/Express, design NiFi flows for data orchestration, and drive test coverage with Vitest, Cypress and Playwright.

Mentor junior engineers, uphold code quality, and partner with teams to deliver mission-critical software for national security programs.

Qualifications

• Ten to fifteen years of related professional experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science or related discipline; substitutions allowed.
• Master’s degree may substitute for two years of experience; PhD may substitute for four years.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of scalable full-stack features.
• Architect backend services and API layers with Node/Express.
• Design robust NiFi flows for messaging and data orchestration.
• Establish and maintain test coverage using Vitest, Cypress, and Playwright.
• Drive code quality and enforce testing standards across the team.
• Mentor junior developers and review code for maintainability and performance.
