Job summary

Velocitor Solutions in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Full Stack) to lead the development of scalable, secure applications powering our enterprise platforms. You will mentor junior engineers, influence architecture, and partner with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software from concept through production.

You’ll drive technical decisions, review code, and contribute to system documentation while keeping current with new technologies and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, CIS, or equivalent.
• 2+ years in a technical leadership role (Lead Engineer, Staff Engineer, etc.).
• Advanced knowledge of JavaScript, React, C#, .NET, and SQL.
• Strong knowledge of SQL Server and SSMS.
• Understanding of SOLID and design patterns.
• Experience using AI-assisted engineering tools to boost productivity and code quality.
• Experience with Visual Studio, Git, CI/CD, and unit testing.
• Experience building and consuming RESTful microservices and using Postman.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with stakeholders and teams.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders to refine requirements and translate objectives into technical solutions.
• Lead technical discovery sessions and provide high-level estimates and delivery recommendations.
• Own technical decision-making for initiatives and drive alignment across teams.
• Review pull requests and maintain a high bar for code quality.
• Mentor engineers and help overcome blockers through guidance.
• Support team effectiveness by removing operational obstacles to delivery.
• Drive engineering best practices and cross-team consistency.
• Develop domain expertise as SME for the flagship web application.
• Develop secure, scalable software from concept to production and support.
• Maintain system documentation and stay current with new technologies.
