Job summary

GEICO, a leading U.S. auto insurer, is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to design and deliver modern digital claims experiences across web, mobile, and backend.

You’ll work with React, TypeScript, Java/Spring Boot, GraphQL, and Flutter, guiding architecture, standards, and cross-team decisions while delivering secure, scalable software. You will mentor engineers, collaborate with product, design, security, and platform partners, and help advance observable, resilient enterprise

Qualifications

• Experience delivering full-stack enterprise applications.
• Strong TypeScript/Java/React proficiency.
• Experience with GraphQL/REST APIs and micro-frontends.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver full-stack capabilities across React, Java, GraphQL, and Flutter.
• Lead technical design for micro-frontends and Backend-for-Frontend services.
• Develop React and TypeScript applications using Webpack Module Federation and Redux Toolkit.
• Design and maintain Java 21 Spring Boot services with stable API contracts.
• Mentor engineers and collaborate with product, architecture, security, and delivery teams.
