Coast is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join our NYC-area team. You will design, build, and run features used by thousands of clients, collaborating with product and UX to deliver value fast and reliably.

Work across the stack from frontend UI to distributed backend services, shaping architecture and tooling in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment with strong emphasis on quality and pragmatic decision-making.

Qualifications

• 4–10+ years of engineering experience on production systems.
• Strong server-side programming and API design skills.
• Proficient in modern web stacks: TypeScript, React/Vue/Next.js.
• Experience building scalable, distributed systems in the cloud (AWS).
• Comfortable working in cross-functional, agile teams.

Responsibilities

• Build features end-to-end from UI to services.
• Evaluate and integrate third-party software and infra including payments.
• Drive quality, automate processes, and raise engineering bar.
• Contribute to engineering culture and early technology decisions.
