Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer for Starlink. You will develop scalable, full-stack web applications within a .NET micro-service architecture in Kubernetes, delivering robust frontend using React/TypeScript and ensuring high availability and observability across services.

You should have a STEM degree with 5+ years of full-stack experience or 7+ years in lieu of a degree. The role requires collaboration with multiple teams and willingness to work extended hours as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or STEM field with 5+ years building full-stack software; or 7+ years of experience in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Develop well-architected, responsive, and performant web applications
• Develop highly reliable and available software systems for Starlink
• Design and implement highly available, fault-tolerant networks at scale
• Deliver expert level TypeScript React code for modern browsers
• Full stack development in a .NET micro-service architecture running in Kubernetes
• Focus on monitoring and alerting to drive data-driven decisions and improve observability
• Collaborate with internal partners to drive business outcomes
• Work with Starlink teams to evolve architecture, design, and code reviews
• Deep dive into user problems to create efficient solutions
• Contribute voice in architecture and code reviews
