Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Sr. Full Stack Engineer (Application Software) to own and advance mission-critical software across manufacturing, flight operations, and Starlink platforms.

You will work on systems enabling rapid build and reuse of Starship, and on public facing services for Starlink customers worldwide. The role emphasizes ownership, collaboration, and delivering scalable solutions in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, math, or scientific discipline; 5+ years of professional software development, or 7+ years in lieu of a degree.
• 3+ years of professional experience in full stack development.

Responsibilities

• Develop highly reliable software solutions used across SpaceX.
• Create new applications to improve SpaceX operations.
• Build prototypes to prove key design concepts and quantify constraints.
• Own all aspects of software engineering and product development.
• Deep dive into users’ problems to create efficient solutions.
• Contribute to architecture, design, and code reviews with the team.
