Cognizant is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to design, build, and enhance modern applications for a leading insurance client. This remote US role requires translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions while maintaining strong engineering, security, and delivery practices.

In an Agile setting, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, reliable, and high-performing software.

Qualifications

• 10-15 years of experience developing and supporting full stack applications.
• Strong hands-on experience with JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services cloud technologies.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
• Understanding of secure coding, code quality, application performance, and modern engineering practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance full stack applications using modern frontend and backend technologies.
• Translate business requirements into robust technical solutions and system designs.
• Drive continuous integration and continuous delivery practices, code quality, security, and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and other cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
• Participate in technical design discussions, code reviews, testing, and production readiness activities.
• Troubleshoot application issues and contribute to reliable, maintainable solutions.
