Job summary

gaiia is hiring a Full-Stack Software Developer to join our Platform squad. You will work on a serverless Typescript stack, building cloud infrastructure, APIs, and data pipelines while collaborating across development squads.

The role emphasizes high-availability, performance, and security in a cloud environment, with can-do attitude and strong product mindset to solve complex problems.

Qualifications

• At least five (5) years of experience in the Javascript web ecosystem (Typescript is a big advantage).
• At least five (5) years of experience designing, deploying and maintaining high-availability systems in the cloud.
• You can deal with uncertainty and bring order to fuzzy challenges.
• You have an outgoing and collaborative personality, eager to work with different stakeholders to solve complex problems.
• You have a strong product mindset.
• Experience with public API design (GraphQL is a big advantage).

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine serverless microservices in a Typescript stack.
• Build and optimize cloud infrastructure for availability, performance, and security.
• Create internal libraries and DevOps guidelines for squads.
• Design and maintain robust public APIs for developers.
• Develop data pipelines used by internal teams and external customers.
• Collaborate across squads and participate in platform-wide initiatives.
