Job summary

Sphinx is hiring a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our team, building the next generation of mission planning and command and control software for space programs. You will lead UI/UX development and strengthen backend services to support space missions operated by the US Government.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressively responsible web development experience with modern software development approaches.
• Extensive experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, TypeScript, web frameworks (React, Svelte).
• Deep understanding of containerized microservices architectures (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong backend understanding and ability to integrate front-end and back-end.
• Experience developing, testing, and deploying software in secure government environments.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain TS/SCI access.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of intuitive UI/UX and robust backend services for space mission planning platform.
• Design, enhance, and improve APIs between front-end and back-end services.
• Drive the development lifecycle with input from users, requirements, and design engineers.
• Conduct thorough code reviews to maintain quality and standards.
