Job summary

Bellese is hiring a Senior Engineer to contribute to mission-critical civic healthcare projects. You’ll develop Go services in containers on AWS, and build React/TypeScript interfaces that meet accessibility standards.

You will own test suites and CI/CD pipelines, ensuring high-quality delivery with automated accessibility checks. You will collaborate across teams, perform performance and security testing, and maintain 24/7 production health with on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• Go is the primary backend language; production experience required.
• React/TypeScript drives the user-facing app; full-stack emphasis.
• Accessible interface development meeting Section 508 and WCAG 2.2 AA in builds.
• Automated testing is mandatory as the project runs without a dedicated QA.
• PostgreSQL schema design, indexing, and migrations on a live system.
• AWS or equivalent cloud experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Cross-functional collaboration with teammates, clients, and stakeholders across the SDLC.
• Test planning, design, and documentation aligned with software specs.
• Bug tracking, prioritization, and cross-team resolution of defects.
• Establish and enforce quality metrics and standards across the project.
• Automate testing to improve coverage, speed, and reliability in CI/CD pipelines.
• Drive continuous improvement and evaluate new QA tools/frameworks.
