Job summary

GoFasti is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer in New York (Manhattan preferred) to join a remote-friendly team. You will own complex features in a TS/Node backend, manage a multi-app stack (Next.js web app, API, Expo mobile, Cloudflare Worker), and ensure data security and reliability across services.

You will work with a large PostgreSQL/Prisma data model, implement asynchronous event-driven patterns, and guide AI-driven code improvements while maintaining clean, well-documented PRs

Qualifications

• 6+ years as a software engineer.
• 3+ years shipping production TS/Node backends.
• Experience with financial data integrations (Plaid, Stripe, etc.).
• Deep PostgreSQL with migrations on live data.
• Experience with asynchronous systems and idempotency.
• Security-first approach to PII and data tokens.
• On-call production ownership and root-cause analyses.
• Proficient written English.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a TypeScript monorepo: Next.js web app and API, Expo mobile app, Cloudflare Worker.
• Work with PostgreSQL/Prisma data model across apps.
• Handle background systems: webhooks, batching, scheduled jobs.
• Ensure security for tokens, encrypted data, and per-user access.
• Leverage AI tools for coding; assess tool accuracy and limits.
• Review code, including own, with a critical eye.
