Job summary

DEFCON is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to design, build, and scale modern web applications. This role offers full ownership of features, engagement in architectural decisions, and utilization of a robust tech stack including React and .NET.

The position is fully remote and comes with a competitive salary ranging from $155,000 to $215,000 along with extensive benefits including health insurance and unlimited PTO.

Qualifications

• Production experience with hash-chained audit, Merkle-tree sealing, and cross-language evidence parity (C# + Python).
• Fluency in PostgreSQL transactional guarantees for audit writes.
• Prior work on ATO-evidence-bearing audit implementations.

Responsibilities

• Design and ship modular .NET services and modern React frontends.
• Own the data foundation with high-performance PostgreSQL schemas.
• Build caching layers with Redis and leverage S3 for large artifacts.

Skills

Production experience with hash-chained audit

Depth in cryptographic evidence pipelines

Fluency in PostgreSQL transactional guarantees

Architect AWS KMS integration
