Kpler in Greece is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer in our Maritime & Logistics division to design, develop, and scale end-to-end web applications and backend APIs powering real-time global trade insights.

You will own features from frontend interfaces with TypeScript (Vue or React) to robust Python-based backends (FastAPI), REST/GraphQL APIs, and cloud deployments on AWS with Docker, CI/CD, and observability.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience building production‑grade full‑stack systems.
• Strong expertise in frontend development using TypeScript and Vue.js or React.
• Hands‑on proficiency in backend development with Python (FastAPI or similar frameworks) and API design (REST/GraphQL).
• Proven track record working with cloud platforms (AWS), Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Demonstrated experience optimizing database performance across SQL and NoSQL environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy robust full-stack applications utilizing TypeScript, modern frontend frameworks (Vue/React), and Python (FastAPI).
• Architect high-performance REST and GraphQL APIs backed by optimized relational (SQL) and non-relational (NoSQL) databases.
• Drive operational excellence across cloud infrastructure (AWS) by maintaining CI/CD pipelines, containerised deployments (Docker), and proactive observability.
• Champion modern software engineering practices, including code reviews, automated testing, and integrating AI dev tools to enhance velocity.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Data Engineering, and SRE teams to translate complex maritime domain needs into scalable technical solutions.
• Monitor system SLAs—focusing on throughput, API latency, and uptime—to ensure seamless data delivery to end-users.
