Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking a Senior Full-stack web applications software architect to join our Hardware Infrastructure team in Durham. You will help design and implement scalable front-end and Java-based microservices that support real-time data processing, analytics, and hardware verification workflows.

You will collaborate with hardware engineers to translate data and UI requirements into robust, observable systems, leveraging Kafka, Flink, Spark Streaming, and modern tooling.

Qualifications

• BS degree (or equivalent) with 5+ years of relevant experience or MS degree with 3+ years.
• Strong experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks for data visualization.
• Expertise in designing, building, and debugging distributed Java stack applications, infrastructure and microservices.
• Deep understanding of Apache Kafka and experience with Kafka Streams, Flink or similar pipelines.
• Knowledge of Redis for scalable caching and system performance.
• Excellent planning and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Modernize front-end applications for a large, diverse customer base.
• Develop and deploy Java stack web applications end-to-end.
• Build microservices and AI-enabled agents that are scalable and reliable.
• Design real-time data pipelines using Kafka Streams, Flink, and Spark Streaming.
• Collaborate with hardware engineering and chip verification teams to align data/UI needs.
• Establish streaming data architecture, schema management, retention, and observability.
