Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; 20 years of software engineering experience.
• Ten years of experience in Java SE, Python, Git, Shell/Bash, Nexus, Maven, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, JUnit, and modern IDEs.
• Ten years of software architecture development, requirements analysis, code generation, process execution and evaluation.
• Ten years with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, GitLab CI) and microservices/CI/CD.
• Ten years of Agile development delivering new capabilities every sprint.
• Experience with Spring Framework, Jenkins, Hibernate, MySQL, Web Services; Vaadin/GWT is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems and real-time components.
• Review and test software components for adherence to design requirements and document results.
• Lead one or more software development teams within the chosen process.
• Design or implement complex algorithms and database interfaces; optimize performance.
• Coordinate software system installation and monitor equipment functioning.
• Develop data queries and integrate software into new or modified environments.
• Produce and review system documentation; support CI/CD pipelines and testing.
• Confer with engineers to derive software requirements and evaluate constraints.
