Job summary

Kavaliro is seeking a Full Stack Engineer for a direct hire, on-site role in Salt Lake City. You will build features end-to-end on enterprise SaaS platforms using React on the frontend and Ruby on Rails on the backend, while mentoring peers and driving architectural decisions.

You should have 5+ years in software engineering, 4+ years with React, Rails or 5+ years Python, and experience with AWS/Kubernetes and automated testing.

Qualifications

• 5+ years software engineering experience in enterprise SaaS/cloud-based solutions.
• 4+ years of Ruby on Rails development or 5+ years of Python development.
• 4+ years of hands-on React experience.
• 4+ years of front-end and back-end test automation (RSpec/Cucumber).
• Technical leadership/mentorship experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop web applications using React (frontend) and Ruby on Rails (backend).
• Contribute to system design, architecture choices, and trade-offs.
• Mentor junior engineers and participate in architecture reviews.
• Engage in daily stand-up meetings and SDLC activities.
• Collaborate with Product Management to refine requirements and tests.
• Participate in peer code reviews and maintain high quality standards.
