What you’ll be doing

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable fullstack applications using React/NextJS (TypeScript) on the frontend and Python (Django/FastAPI) or Node.js (Express/NestJS) on the backend.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers to translate business requirements into high‑quality technical solutions.
• Build reusable, maintainable, and performant UI components and backend services.
• Develop and integrate RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs, ensuring reliability and scalability.
• Contribute to architecture discussions and help define best practices across frontend and backend systems.
• Ensure code quality through code reviews, unit/integration testing, and adherence to engineering standards.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and security across the stack.
• Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues in collaboration with DevOps and QA teams.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and learning.

What you’ll need to be successful (Requirements)

Please note: Java and .NET based applicants need not apply.

• Minimum of 4+ years of hands‑on development experience in fullstack development.
• Strong proficiency in React/NextJS (TypeScript), including state management (e.g., Redux, Context API) and modern frontend practices.
• Solid experience with backend development using Python (Django, FastAPI) or Node.js (Express, NestJS).
• Experience designing, implementing and consuming RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL API services.
• Strong understanding of database design and experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines through GitHub Actions.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced, client‑facing environment.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across cross‑functional teams.
• Experience working in agile or scrum‑based environments.
• Familiarity with cloud‑based logging, monitoring, and security tools.

Bonus Points for these (Preferred Experience)

• Experience with headless CMS platforms (e.g., Contentful, Contentstack, Sanity).
• Familiarity with eCommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, BigCommerce, Saleor).
• Experience with microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of DevOps practices, infrastructure‑as‑code (Terraform, CDK), and monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana).
• Experience working on healthcare, fintech, or regulated industry projects.
• Experience with Data analytics platforms like GCP BigQuery, Snowflake.
