Job summary

iCapital seeks a Full Stack Engineer to own end-to-end feature work across one or more platforms, collaborating with Product Management to refine requirements, review progress, and address issues found during testing.

You will build with React on the frontend and Ruby on Rails on the backend, mentor peers, participate in architecture reviews, and contribute to a robust SDLC. Hybrid work in the US with strong collaboration and communication required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years software engineering experience in enterprise SaaS
• 3+ years Ruby on Rails development
• 3+ years modern JS frameworks such as React
• 2+ years front-end and back-end test automation (RSpec, Cucumber)
• Experience with relational databases
• Familiarity with cloud technologies (Kubernetes, AWS)
• Agile / Kanban experience
• Strong communication and collaboration

Responsibilities

• Develop web applications in React frontend and Rails backend
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to architecture decisions
• Participate in architecture reviews and technical design
• Active participation in daily stand-up meetings
• Active participation in peer code reviews
