Job summary

iCapital is seeking a Full Stack Engineer to own end-to-end feature work on its cloud-based platforms. You will collaborate with Product Management to refine requirements, review work, and resolve defects, with a focus on React frontend and Ruby on Rails backend.

You should have 5+ years of experience, strong database knowledge, and a collaborative, Agile mindset. You will mentor junior engineers, participate in architecture reviews, and drive scalable solutions in a Kubernetes/AWS environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience building enterprise SaaS cloud-based solutions.
• Strong relational database concepts and modeling knowledge.
• Excellent communication and collaboration in Agile teams.
• Experience with React frontend and Rails backend.
• Hands-on with modern JS frameworks and cloud technologies (AWS, Kubernetes).

Responsibilities

• Develop end-to-end features and resolve defects across platforms.

Job description

• The Full Stack Engineer at iCapital will work end-to-end on new features, enhancements, and defect resolution on one or more of iCapital’s software platforms. You will work closely with our Product Management team throughout the software development process, detailing requirements, reviewing work in progress, and addressing issues found in manual test efforts
• Web application development in React as front end and Ruby on Rails as a backend
• Strong grasp of system design, architecture, and trade-offs. Able to mentor junior engineers effectively
• Participate in architecture reviews and technical design
• Active participation in daily stand-up meetings
• Active participation in Peer Code Reviews as part of our standard SDLC and Change
