Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer who will own the quality assurance governance and automation strategy while contributing to full-stack development. The role is hybrid, based in Boston, with two days in the office weekly, and focuses on building robust test frameworks for UI, API, and mobile testing.

Ideal candidates have extensive experience in automation tooling (Cypress, Selenium, Playwright, Appium), performance testing, and AWS-based cloud

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on technology experience, with focus on software development and test automation.
• Experience designing and maintaining automated test frameworks for web and mobile apps.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps in Agile environments.
• Ability to mentor engineers on testable code and automation practices.
• Experience integrating AI into automation and test data generation.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end quality assurance and test automation strategy for digital applications.
• Design, code, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for UI, API, and mobile testing.
• Contribute to full-stack development across front-end and back-end components.
• Mentor engineers on testing techniques, best practices, and automation tools.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and developers to ensure high-quality user experiences.
