Jobot partners with a rapidly growing AI-driven SaaS company to hire a Senior Software Engineer who will scale the platform and influence architecture, product direction, and engineering standards.

The role spans the full technology stack, requires strong cloud, API, and data pipeline experience, and involves close collaboration with Product, Sales, Customer Success, and Leadership teams. Expertise in Python/Django/Node.js and AWS is highly valued.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong full-stack development experience.
• Experience building and supporting distributed systems, APIs, microservices, and scalable cloud-based applications.
• Hands-on experience with modern cloud infrastructure and deployment practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
• Experience with or willingness to work extensively in technologies such as Python, Django, Node.js, JavaScript frameworks, AWS, relational databases, and event-driven architectures.
• Proactive use of AI coding tools in development workflow.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support software across the full technology stack.
• Build and maintain APIs, microservices, backend services, and data pipelines.
• Contribute to system architecture, infrastructure, and database design decisions.
• Partner closely with Product, Sales, Customer Success, and Leadership teams.
• Review code and promote engineering best practices across the organization.
• Support machine learning initiatives through experimentation, testing, and model iteration.
• Help shape the future direction of the engineering organization through technical leadership and mentorship.
